Believe

July 5, 2015 by Heidi Olsen Leave a Comment

Everybody says your first blog post is the hardest, and I’m finally doing it. I’ve been sharing with you all on Twitter for awhile now. I’m looking forward to sharing more with you on this blog, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, too.

I’ve wanted to start this blog for many years. I’ve even chosen a few different names for it. But it never felt right, until now. I believe that God has a plan for every one of us to find our way back to Him. This blog is my journey back to Him with Jesus Christ by my side.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13

Growing Family Love in 2014

The name for my blog (I hope) is self explanatory Grow Family Love! I chose this name for my blog because I believe that’s what God’s message is to me and my message to the world – the message to grow love in anyway possible, but especially family love. God has given me a really cool story and now it’s time for me to share it with the world. I hope you enjoy my blog. I look forward to getting to know you all and having fun along the way! Thank you to all the other women who have gone ahead of me and by sharing their stories encouraged me to do the same.

It’s time to share my story – a story of mercy, grace, peace, comfort, hope, faith, joy, miracles, breakthroughs, and victories. Ultimately, my story is the story of love.

Welcome to my journey!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
~ 1 Timothy 6:12

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
~ John 16:33

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
~ Isaiah 40:28-31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:31
