Our Family Expedition

October 6, 2015 by Heidi Olsen Leave a Comment

I’ve kept the same car for 3 years today. Wow! This is definitely worth celebrating because being married to a mechanic, I’ve been lucky to test drive and own all kinds of cars. I’ve driven sedans, sports cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, and luxury cars, too. It took me a long time find the right car to stick with, but I finallly found it – a Ford Expedition! It fits our family needs perfectly and has room for everything we need, too. Most importantly, it’s safe for the whole family! Thank you, Ford, for building safe trucks for families!

Family Expedition

This is one of my favorite family expeditions in my Ford truck this summer. We decided to take my truck up to our favorite trail and four wheel it up the mountain, have lunch and hang out as a family just the 6 of us! The look on Nemi’s face here says it all! It was an amazing day filled with love! Many beautiful family memories were made this day! :)

What’s your favorite road trip memory? I’d love to hear about it!

Happy Travel Tuesday!

God bless you all,
Mrs. Olsen

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
~ 1 Timothy 6:12

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
~ John 16:33

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
~ Isaiah 40:28-31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:31
