National Spouses Day

January 26, 2016 by Heidi Olsen Leave a Comment

January 26 is National Spouses Day, a sweet reminder to celebrate the one God gave you to walk through life with.

Happy National Spouses Day!

It is always more fun when we are together. 😍😍

We truly love being married to each other. Best friends. Teammates. Covenant partners for life.

Always fun together!

This is us at Oktoberfest in Denver, just one of many memories we have made through the years. From everyday moments at home to little adventures like this, the joy is not in the place. The joy is in doing life side by side.

Marriage is not perfect, but it is a gift. The Lord joins two lives into one story, and that story deserves gratitude.

National Spouses Day is a simple reminder to celebrate your spouse with intention.

Do not take each other for granted.
Laugh together.
Take pictures together.
Stay close.
Choose each other again.

Always fun together. Always grateful.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
~ 1 Timothy 6:12

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
~ John 16:33

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
~ Isaiah 40:28-31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:31
